I graduated in 1967 from Iowa State University with a B.S. in Chemistry, then obtained a Ph.D.in Chemistry from Penn State. Retired from Bayer Pharmaceutical in Berkeley, CA and now concentrating on golf, tennis and traveling

Gillian-welcome to the 70 club. I was in Bora Bora last January for my 70th. I'm now required to take an annual distribution from my IRA. You can wait another year. I'm excited about the way the Chicago Cubs are playing. They come to Oakland next season. I've been retired since 2002 (13 years) and fill my time playing tennis, golf and some stock trading. Good to hear that you are enjoying retirement. My brother Gary retired last month (turns 60 on October 18). I'm planning to visit him in Tampa, Fl. Next month. Have not been their.
