I received word about the passing of former classmate Sandi Marti (Westergaard) from her close friends Audrey Masessa and Carolyn D'Eath.  Sandi was a part of our class through our soph yr when her family moved from Wilmette to Arlington Heights. She wanted to remain as our classmate and even attended several of our class of '63 reunions. 
Here is a note they received from her family.. 

My name is Mark Westergaard. I am Sandi's son.
It is with regret that I have to tell you that my mother died on the 7th of January 2024 from a previously undetected brain tumor.

We are having a wake and memorial on the same day, on Jan.19th at Glueckert's Funeral Home at
