Ken was born  born on May 10, 1945.  He passed away on March 5, 1999 in a motorcycle accident in Arizona where he lived with his family. They had moved there from the Chicago suburbs where they had initially raised the children. He was survived by his wife, Recky (now Brannon) and three children, Jody (now Friedericks), Lorne and Debra (now Hilleboe).  Ken was a representative of Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company and President of Maltenfort Insurance Agency, Inc.  He was a member of Troon Country Club and was past President of the Arizona Estate Planning Council.  He received many industry awards for service and achievement.
